I read somewhere that something can be in two places at once in quantum theory.
I know that they say it is very accurate and the predictions it makes all seem to be correct BUT
how can it be that something is in two places at once?
I have never seen in the real world something be in two places at once so how can it be that the world at that small level is so different from the world at the higher level, GIVEN THAT the world at the higher level is formed from what goes on at the small level: it is though one is built from the other yet completely separate from it which doesn't seem to make much sense.
Can anyone explain why it only happens at that low level and not at the level of objects we see, feel and experience in the real world? That's the question that gives me the real headache when it comes to trying to understand what quantum theory says.
